Located in our 30,000 sqft factory in Cambridgeshire, our state-of-the-art Cooltemper furnace heat strengthens glass for durability where it can be used for a variety of uses. Our heat strengthened glass effectively offers greater resistance to thermal loads than standard annealed glass.

Stand-alone heat-strengthened glass is not a safety glass, as when it’s broken the fragments are typically larger than fully toughened glass.
Applications
Heat-strengthened glass can be enhanced and used as a safety glazing material, by applying heat strengthened laminate to the process. Combined with our in-house lamination process, we can provide 9.5 and 13.5 heat strengthened laminated glass for a variety of commercial uses.
